ZERO EMISSION PLUG & PLAY HYDROGEN POWER MODULES FOR VESSELS
Genevos specialises in marine hydrogen fuel cell integration offering scalable solutions from 10 kW to multi-MW scale. The Hydrogen Power Modules (HPMs) are engineered specifically for vessels with key features of modularity, redundancy, marine certification, low weight, low volume, and enable zero emissions when fuelled by green hydrogen.
End-End Solution:
Genevos goes further to support the energy transition for clients through the provision of engineering services in preliminary sizing studies, hydrogen system integration design, safety and risk assessment. Onsite commission and system installation are also provided by Genevos with on-going support through cloud connectivity and remote monitoring, Power Management System (PMS) upgrades and performance optimisation, in addition to an annual service pack.
This year at the Electric and Hybrid Marine World Expo, Genevos will be showcasing their first modular high-power commercial product, the HPM-80 (kW). HPM-80s can be stacked to fully decarbonise a diverse range of vessels including ferries, crew transfer vessels, offshore support vessels, tug boats, and even small freighters for short-sea transport.
The HPM family uses corrosion-resistant graphite plate technology by integrating Cummins-Hydrogenics high durability (HD-series) stacks, which have been developed and tested for heavy duty applications over the last 20 years.
The HPM award-winning solution has been officially recognised as a clean and profitable solution with a positive impact on environment and quality of life, achieving the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label, the Monaco Prize for Innovation in Renewable Hydrogen and Transportation, the 2022 Electric & Hybrid Propulsion System of the Year Award, and the Sud-Ouest Region Nouvelle-Aquitaine Maritime Innovation Trophy.
