MarinEV, a business segment of Yinson GreenTech that is responsible for maritime electrification solutions in Singapore, and Blue Ctrl, a prominent Norwegian software supplier for automation and power management systems, have introduced the X-Connect Platform to the Singapore maritime market.
The companies are focused on developing solutions for ship automation, with capabilities for energy management and data harvesting on board vessels. The partnership will be based on the use of the X-Connect platform, which has been developed by Blue Ctrl. The platform can provide real-time data and insights that are critical for optimizing energy use and improving vessel performance.
“As we continue scaling our electric vessel operations, incorporating advanced digital tools is key to delivering smarter, more responsive marine solutions,” said Jan-Viggo Johansen, managing director of MarinEV. “Blue Ctrl’s platform adds valuable capabilities that help us optimize performance and reinforce our vision for a safe, smart and efficient maritime future.”
“We are pleased to partner with Yinson GreenTech MarinEV to expand our reach in the Singapore shipbuilding market,” added Arne Dybvik, managing director of Blue Ctrl. “Together, we will provide the tools they need to achieve greater efficiency, reduce costs and improve vessel performance.”
